After retiring from a long career in the nursery/landscape business, specializing in the propagation and use of California natives and landscaping for wildlife, I became restless and took on a job as an assistant manager for a non-profit organization called The Center of Natural Lands Management.; a ‚Ä®company devoted in protecting sensitive biological resources and is involved in the stewardship of more than 60 wildlife preserves through out California. I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in maintaining at least ten of these ecological preserves located in Southern California.

For many years I have enjoyed volunteering for the Santa Rosa Plateau Reserves in Murrieta, CA and organized their first native plant sale. I had the opportunity to volunteer for other ecological preserves in Southern California as well.

I am a strong advocate of organic gardening and believe in sustainable living practices.  I encourage the use of native plants while designing and installing landscapes.
